Full Time Bilingual Spanish/English Youth Skill Builder

Hispanic Counseling Center is currently seeking a highly motivated/dedicated Full-time Bilingual (English/Spanish) Bilingual Youth Skill Builder to join our Respite Program

Job description includes but is not limited to:

• Reports to Program Coordinator
• Shall drive when needed to pick up Clients for groups and events
• Conducts intakes with Program Coordinator and provides support to family at the initial stage
• Shall prepare an Individualized Service plan with each client at time of intake and update every six months
• Shall conduct and write individual, family FPSS session notes and/or service notes
• Shall complete discharge summaries and linkage to other resources
• Shall prepare Client progress record charts, write letters when indicated, and submit reports
• Shall participate in Local and State Conferences
• Shall attend instructional seminars
• Shall share information with referral agencies
• Provide aid, on a planned basis, which temporarily relieves the family of the care taking role.

Qualifications

• Minimal Associates Diploma
• Must have an active driver’s license
• Fully bilingual in Spanish/English
• Ability to relate to and communicate effectively with a variety of multi-ethnic and socio-economic groups and/or individual.
• Must be knowledgeable of resources available in the community to meet the needs of families and children
